ASSIGNMENT 1: DINING EXPERIENCE IN WESTERN CUISINE RESTAURANT

INTRODUCTION
Hello all, On this one assignment we were told to eat at the restaurant fine dining college cosmopoint. I was thankful for our lecturer for assigning us to dine-in at one of the restaurant of Western Cuisine because it encourages us to know more about the Western Cuisine. we were told to feel the food served. namely appetizer, main course, soup, dessert and beverage. I have chosen this restaurant because they were offering the Western Cuisine with affordable price. 



The restaurant have been served with:

•Appetizer : Manchester mini hamburger
•Soup: Creamy Trio of Mushroom Soup
•Main course: Pan Roasted Quail with Garlic Mashed Potato, Beetroot Puree and Sunny Side Quail Egg and Sundried Tomato served with Mushroom Sauce.
•Dessert: Martha Strawberry Ice Cream Cake
•Beverage: Ginger Drink, Driver's Punch, Coffee or Tea.


•APPETIZER•
( Manchester mini hamburger )

INGREDIENTS:
Patty, onion powder, garlic powder, kosher salt, pound ground chunk, bun.


SOUP•
 ( Creamy Trio of Mushroom Soup )

INGREDIENTS:
Unsalted butter, sliced fresh mushrooms, salt, yellow onion,  all-purpose flour, fresh thyme, garlic, chicken broth, water, heavy whipping cream, and freshly ground black pepper to taste, fresh thyme leaves for garnish, or to taste.


MAIN COURSE•
( Pan Roasted Quail with Garlic Mashed Potato, Beetroot Puree and Sunny Side Quail Egg and Sundried Tomato served with Mushroom Sauce )

INGREDIENTS:

Pan Roasted Quail
•Garlic, mix herbs, olive oil, salt and pepper


Garlic Mashed Potato
•Potato, cream, butter, salt and pepper

Beetroot Puree
•Beetroot puree, vinegar, garlic, water, bay leaf, salt and pepper

Sunny Side Quail Egg and Sundried Tomato 
•Sundried tomato, cherry tomato, oil, salt and black pepper

Mushroom Sauce
•Demi-glaze, butter, onion, cream


•DESSERT•
( Martha Strawberry Ice Cream Cake )

INGREDIENTS:
•Unsalted butter, purpose flour, corn starch, large egg, vanilla extract, cup of sugar, pinch of salt, strawberry ice cream



BEVERAGE•
( Ginger Drink )

INGREDIENTS:
•Fresh raw ginger, water, Juice from 1/2 lime, or to taste.


( Driver's Punch )

INGREDIENTS:
•frozen Ocean Spray Cranberry Cocktail concentrate thawed, orange-tangerine juice, lime juice, soda water, ice ring, orange slice



In my opinion, I would like five stars to this restaurant because the food is very tasty. all the staff staff are doing well. Here's the reataurant I've ever tasted the best because everything is great. I really like the way my worker works and I really like the reason for not waiting long for the food that i've order. I really like the appetizer is the manchester mini hamburger because it is very tasty and delicious. I also like dessert which is a good Martha Strawberry Ice Cream Cake  as well. it was very delicious. as well as the main course of Pan Roasted Quail with Garlic Mashed Potato, Beetroot Puree and Sunny Side Quail Egg and Sundried Tomato served with Mushroom Sauce  as the chicken is very tasty. but i dont like the beverage one is the ginger drink because its not delicious. because its felt different from the others. same as the soup. i dont like the soup because its very concentrated and salty taste. I suggest that they can change the menu of soup and beverage. because I do not think everyone likes to drink ginger drink and mashroom soup.


CONCLUSION
In my conclusion I am very happy to be able to eat at this restaurant. I'm very proud of being able to know recipe recipes here. I hope I can do it at home and I hope one day will eat here again.
